Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju presented the Parade Tableaux Republic Day Memorial Award 2021. In the 72nd Republic Day parade, 32 people participated in the performance. These Tableaux were selected from 17 states and Union Territories (UT).

♦ The Uttar Pradesh table won 32 best table awards. The theme of the UP screen is “Ayodhya: Cultural Heritage of Uttar Pradesh”.
♦ Tripura’s picture was chosen as the second-best picture. The Tripura screen shows an eco-friendly tradition to achieve self-reliance on social and economic parameters.
♦ The third place in Uttarakhand won the Best Viewing Award. Tableau in Uttarakhand was exhibited under the theme of “Dev Bhoomi-Land of the Gods”.
♦ Among the 9 awards of various ministries, departments and paramilitary forces, the Biotechnology Department received the highest award. The department presented Tableau with the theme “Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan: Development of a COVID Vaccine”.
♦ In addition, the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) screen also won a special award. CPWD was rewarded for paying tribute to the heroes of the armed forces. The theme of the CPWD screen is “Amar Jawan”.
♦ The Best Cultural Performance Award was given to students from Delhi Abu Hill Public School and Rodini Vidya Bharti School. In their performance, they showed India’s vision of self-reliance-Atmanirbhar Bharat.
♦ The Ministry of National Defence chose this scene for the Republic Day parade. In order to be shortlisted for the exhibition, the Ministry of National Defence established an expert committee composed of outstanding individuals from various artistic fields.
