08 October 2021 Current Affairs:PM Narendra Modi, on 7 October inaugurated 35 pressure swing adsorption (PSA) oxygen plants established under the PM CARES fund.
Highlights:
♦ This was inaugurated across 35 States and Union Territories in an Occasion at AIIMS Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.
♦With those mentioned above, all districts of the country will now have approved PSA oxygen plants.
♦Under the PM CARES fund, 1,224 PSA oxygen plants were financed across the country.
♦More than 1,100 plants have been approved, providing an output of over 1,750 MT of oxygen per day.
♦Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya were also accounted for on occasion.
