National Youth Award for Mohammad Azam

19 August 2021 Current Affairs:Mohammad Azam from Karimnagar in Telangana has been awarded the National Youth Award by the Youth Affairs & Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur in Delhi for displaying exemplary management qualities. 

Highlights:
♦ Mohammad Azam has carried out a few attention programmes related to blood donation, organ donation and plantation programmes under the Haritha Haram project. The award includes an understanding certificate and Rs 50,000 cash.
♦ Apart from these, he has additionally laboured on water conservation, development of soaking pits works related to the Swachh Bharat mission & authorities welfare schemes for the advantage of the people in quite a several villages. He received the Indira Gandhi NSS Award from then Indian President Pranab Mukherjee. He was awarded the Pratibha Puraskar award using the State authorities in the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh and the Rashtriya Gaurav Samman Award.
