06 September 2021 Current Affairs:The 5th of September is celebrated as teacher’s day all over India. This day is celebrated as the teacher’s day to mark the birthday of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who was once the former president of our country. 

Highlights:
♦ He was once a philosopher, a scholar, and the Bharat Ratna Awardee. He was the second President of India (1962 to 1967) and the first Vice President of India (1952–1962). The Ministry of Education offers the National Teachers Awards on this event each year. In 2021, the President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind will confer National Awards on forty four teachers from throughout the country.
♦ In 1962, Dr. Radhakrishan grew to be the 2nd President of Independent India. The predominant importance to celebrate this day is that Dr Radhakrishan’s students approached him to enable them to rejoice his birthday as a one-of-a-kind day. He was amazed and completely happy with the aid of the admiration which is given to him via the students even after he was once not their teacher.
