Highlights:
♦ Nata Sankirtana happens for 3 days each year which features the Academy’s activities.
♦ Since Manipur is understood for its rich culture and tradition, this festival aims to guard and promote the culture and tradition for future generations.
♦ The government also observe the income generation and employment generation for unemployed youths and takes up few schemes like ‘start ups’.
♦ The inaugural session is attended by students of JNMDA, artistes from Nata Sankirtana and far more eminent personalities.
♦ On the primary day of the festival, students of JNMDA showcased Nata Sankirtana called Sheihou.
♦ The second day of the festival will mark the performance by artiste of the general public Theatre Artiste Association in Phoijing, Nambol
♦ The third day of the festival is marked by the performance of artists from Nata Sangeet Academy & Research Centre, Yaiskul Janmasthan, Imphal.
