Most Influential People by TIME

17 September 2021 Current Affairs:TIME journal has unveiled its annual list of ‘The 100 Most Influential People of 2021’. PM Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee and Serum Institute of India CEO Adar Poonawalla have been named amongst the world’s one hundred most influential people of 2021 via TIME magazine. The list is divided into six classes – Icons, Pioneers, Titans, Artists, Leaders and Innovators.

A global listing that includes:
♦ US President – Joe Biden,
♦ US Vice President – Kamala Harris,
♦ Chinese President – Xi Jinping,
♦ Duke & Duchess of Sussex Prince Harry & Meghan,
♦ Former US President – Donald Trump &
♦ ♦ Co-founder of the Taliban Mullah – Abdul Ghani Baradar.
The listing additionally includes tennis participant Naomi Osaka, Russian opposition activist Alexei Navalny, tune icon Britney Spears, Executive Director of the APP (Asian Pacific Policy), Planning Council Manjusha P. Kulkarni, Apple CEO Tim Cook, actor Kate Winslet and the 1st African and 1st lady to lead the World Trade Organization Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.
