International Jazz Day is on 30th April
Highlights:
♦ The 2021 celebration marks the tenth anniversary of International Jazz Day. The day was created on the notion of jazz pianist and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Herbie Hancock.
♦ The musical structure of jazz used to be developed by means of African Americans. It was once influenced by means of each European harmonic structure and African rhythms. It originated in the nineteenth and early 20th centuries.
♦ The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) proclaimed April 30 as International Jazz Day in November 2011. The day was once targeted to convey communities, schools, artists, historians, academics, and jazz enthusiasts collectively from across the world to have fun and study the art of jazz and its impact.
