International Day of Families 15th May
About the day:
This day provides an opportunity to increase people’s awareness of family-related issues and increase their understanding of the social, economic & demographic processes that affect families. The year 2020 marks the 25th anniversary year of the Copenhagen Declaration, and the Beijing Platform for Action coincides with one of the most challenging global health and social crises, the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has become the focus of attention, investing in social policies that protect the most vulnerable individuals and families.
