18 November 2021 Current Affairs:In Gurugram, India’s first fisheries business incubator opened for business.

Highlights:
♦ In Gurugram, Haryana, the first-of-its-kind specialised fisheries business incubator was opened to grow fisheries start-ups in actual market-driven circumstances.
 ♦ LINAC- NCDC Fisheries Business Incubation Centre is the name of the incubator (LlFlC). 
♦ Shri Parshottam Rupala, Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairy, officiated at the event.
♦ The centre was built at a cost of Rs. 3.23 crore as part of the national government’s Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY).
♦ The LIFIC is implemented by the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC).
♦ The first batch of 10 incubators has already been identified from four states (Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra).
