E-Content for Children with Disabilities
Highlights of the guidelines:
♦ e-Content for CwDs should be created with the four principles of ‘perceivable, operable, understandable and robust’.
♦ e-Content, such as text, tables, diagrams, visuals, audios, and videos, should adhere to national and international accessibility standards.
♦ Technical standards must be met by distribution platforms where content is uploaded (e.g., DIKSHA) and reading platforms/devices where content is accessed and interacted with (e.g., e-pathshala).
