Mr Abhay Kumar Singh has been appointed as joint secretary in the Cooperation Ministry. This ministry used to be lately formed with an intention to toughen the cooperative motion in the country.
The appointment of Abhay Kumar Singh has been cleared by way of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet headed through PM Modi. Singh, a 2004-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Bihar cadre, has been appointed as joint secretary in the ministry for a blended tenure of seven years towards the newly created post.
